The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers has always placed a high value on training and is affiliated with several training and safety programs considered among the best in the world: the MOST Program and the Boilermaker National Apprenticeship Program. In addition, the Boilermakers maintain XX training centers that boast state-of-the-art equipment.
MOST
The MOST Programs include 17 safety and training programs developed specifically for the Boilermaker trade. MOST stands for Mobilization, Optimization, Stabilization and Training and was designed to increase the skill levels of all Boilermakers while providing value to the owners and contractors who employ them. Since its inception, MOST programs have resulted in a 90% reduction in OSHA recordable injuries.
Boilermaker National Apprenticeship Program
The Boilermaker National Apprenticeship Program (BNAP) is a rigorous four-year, on-the-job training program designed out of over 100 years of history and experience—and utilizing the most advanced training techniques.
Welding Boot Camp NEW
Welding Boot Camp is a new addition. It is not an alternative to the Boilermaker National Apprenticeship Program’s four-year apprenticeship, but is designed to “polish” the skills of experienced tradesmen and women through a three-week intensive training program.

Boilermaker local lodges and training centers are located throughout the United States and Canada.

The Utility Workers Union of America is committed to training and preparing its members to ensure their safety and the integrity of their work. From training centers to specialized safety, support and training programs, the UWUA offers an array of resources.
